Leaf Lettuce
Leaf lettuce, one of 5 types of lettuce, is characterized by its loose bunches of leaves rather than a head. Leaf lettuce comes in a variety of colors (red, bronze, green, and chartreuse) and in different textures (smooth, puckered, and frilled). The leaves on all leaf lettuces are exceptionally tender.
At Ryder Farm, we grow leaf lettuce, as well as butterhead lettuce and romaine lettuce.
