Radicchio
(Cichorium intybus)

A type of chicory with a bitter-sweet bite. It aids digestion and is a good source of Vitamin A, C, and calcium. Stands up well to grilling. Substitute for endive or chicory. Use as edible cup for appetizers or bits of dip or various salads like shrimp, Waldorf, or chicken.
